Native Residents

The isolation that is synonymous with the Southwest National Park has allowed local fauna and wildlife to flourish. We are fortunate to host a plethora of native creatures, including, but not exclusive to: the platypus, echidna, Tasmanian Devils, Mountain parrots, resident Quolls and wallabies. We kindly ask our guests to not interfere with these animals’ day-to-day lives, but to instead appreciate their grace from a respectable distance.
